Just Four Fun Barbershop Quartet

The starting performance for the

Nova Scotia Youth Choir concert

In February 1992, four barbershop singers got together on short notice to sing in a fundraising show for a church. They enjoyed themselves so much that they decided to stay together ‘Just Four Fun’. The quartet is still having just as much fun today.

Over the years there have been several personnel changes so that only one of the original members (Ian Flemming, baritone) is still with the quartet today. Doug MacLean, (bass) has been with the quartet since 1994.  Dick Sayer (lead) and Nick Mattison (tenor) are more recent additions.

Just Four Fun are members of the Metro Barbershop Choruses.  Over the years they have sung in numerous venues and at all kinds of different functions. The quartet has an extensive repertoire in different genres including barbershop style, popular, comedy, spiritual and Christmas.
